Not to be outdone by Volunteer 8 news or the Knoxville Sentinel, Knoxville's Channel 10 picked up the story of my gold-winning dad and how he just won't quit competitive diving. This one focuses a little more on his injuries than the Volunteer 8 story, but I guess they thought that the "incredible inspiration not to give up on your dreams" angle had been adequately covered. I am so proud of him. I wish I could walk around downtown with my laptop showing strangers the news clips and saying "that's my dad!" But the last time I did that the cop told me to move along. So.
